  FAQ

Which version of Visual Basic is required ?
VBubbles is compatible with Visual Basic 6, updated with the Microsoft Service Pack 6.

How to start with VBubbles after installing ?
If VBubbles is not loaded in VB after installing, Select"VBubbles 6" in the Visual basic add-ins browser, then check "Load" and "Load on startup".

Can VBubbles work with others loaded add-ins ?
Yes, but some trouble may occur if any others loaded add-ins does changes to some Visual Basic menus or toolbars.

I need an english (or french) help file instead of the installed one
You maybe downloaded the inappropriate package. You just have to download the english or french help file, and replace the older one in the program folder.
 Download the english help file
 Download the french help file

Missing file : THREED32.OCX
Vbubbles requires the Sheridan 3D Controls theed32.ocx activeX which is part of the VB5 package. It can be found in the VB6 CD-ROM (in the common\tools\controls folder).
You must copy it into the windows\system32 folder, then register it with the vbctrls.reg that can be found at the same place.

Can VBubbles manage projects groups ?
Yes. When a projects group is loaded in Visual Basic, you may capture the whole group or select one of the projects to be captured alone.

Is it possible to capture a "classic" VB project ?
Of course, you may capture a project at any step of it's development.

Can we return to"classical" development after a "VBubbles" development ?
Of course. To do so, you need to first open the project in Vbubbles, then select the project file (or the projects group file) with the standard Visual Basic commands.

How to export a VBubbles project onto a new computer ?
You just have to export the project database file, then reference it with VBubbles.

Is it possible to start shared development under VBubbles ?
Yes. Shared development is easily managed with VBubbles; You can even work simultaneously on different versions of a same project. Automatic signing of files changes and development time tracking impoves shared development management.
